My career began in public service as a legislative aide to two U.S. Senators followed by a position as a policy and communications advisor at the U.S. EPA and a White-House led international environmental education program.
Since transitioning to the private sector in 2000, I have managed numerous nationwide public education and corporate reputation campaigns with leading strategic communications and management consultancy firms Fleishman-Hillard/VOX Global, Burson-Marsteller, and Guidehouse.
I am particularly proud of my work to advance healthy behaviors among young teens, reduce stigma around mental health, encourage households to respond to the once-every-decade census, and build trust in government communications.
As a coach, I’ve worked with dozens of leaders in high-stakes environments to identify ways to better manage multi-generational, hybrid teams while pursuing stretch goals for their organizations and themselves.
